The Construct is this same chain as a place you walk through. Each stage is a terminal beside a locked gate, and solving it opens the gate. The maze also hides data fragments with a bonus message you can only get there.
Your progress and score are the same either way, so you can start in one and finish in the other. If you want the maze to be a surprise, start there.
📜 Briefing
The Construct was never meant to be walked. It is a loading program, a white room the operators forgot to switch off, and somewhere in the years since it has grown walls. Green code runs down them like rain on glass.
Three gates stand between you and the way out. Each has a terminal beside it, and each terminal holds a message left by whoever came through before you. Decode a message and its gate opens. The words you recover are also the key to the next terminal, so nothing can be skipped.
