Cold Storage is this same chain as a place you walk through. Each stage is a terminal beside a locked gate, and solving it opens the gate. The maze also hides data fragments with a bonus message you can only get there.

Your progress and score are the same either way, so you can start in one and finish in the other. If you want the maze to be a surprise, start there.

Cold Storage is where the system keeps what it does not want found: old backups, in racks nobody visits, guarded by lasers that nobody switched off. Nothing here is written in letters. It is written the way machines write: in hexadecimal, in Base64, in bits.

Four gates. Each answer hands you the key for the next. Watch the laser gates on your way: they switch off for a moment at a time.
